Court Adjourns Judgment On Evan`s Suit Till Sept 21.

The Federal High Court in Lagos has adjourned judgment over the N300m Fundamental Rights Enforcement Suit brought by the Suspected Kidnapper, Chukwedumeme Onwuamadike popularly knowns as `Evans` against the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Ibrahim Idris and three others.








Meanwhile presiding Judge, Justice Abdul-Aziz Anka the instance of the Commissioner of Police Legal, David Igbodo who turned up in the court with an application claiming that the Inspector General of Police (IGP) and the Nigerian Police Force had not been party to the proceedings and the court could not go ahead with judgement without hearing from both parties.

Evans also asked the court to order the police authorities to immediately arrange him before the law court, or release him from custody. The Federal High Court in Lagos had fixed August 21 to deliver judgment in the Fundamental Right Enforcement Suit filed by Evans..
