Waffle House Shooting Suspect Captured After 34 Hour Manhunt


Police have arrested the 29 years old Travis Reinking accused of killing four people at a Waffle House in Nashville this weekend.

On Monday, authorities discovered Travis Reinking hiding in the woods behind a construction sites about a mile from the restaurant where the shooting occurred in the community of Nashville. Police said Reinking immediately lay on the ground and surrendered when an officer approached him with his gun drawn.

Reinking was arrested and taken to a hospital. He was booked later on Monday at the Hill Detention Center on four counts of criminal homicide. Reinking requested a lawyer and refused to answer or make a statement.

According to Don Department. Information on how Reinking eluded officers, police dogs and search helicopters was not given. Reinking is expected to appear in court on Wednesday. His blood was set at $2 million, $500,000 for each homicide count, according to the commissioners office.
