American Rapper, Wale Cuts Off His Signature Dreads

Yup! American rapper with Nigerian roots, Wale cut off his signature dreads over the weekend. That must ave been a hard thing to do as he has had dreadlocks for most part of his adult life. Although he didn't seem happy about cutting the dreads, he said something about wanting to make some changes in his life.

His last album, Shine didn't do to well commercially. It sold 25,000 copies first week, which is the lowest so far with all his albums in his 8 years career. I guess this has to do with the decision of cutting the dreads. I guess he wants to re-brand. Too many rappers with dreads in the music industry these days anyway.
