Five more suspect have been arrested in connection with the April 5, 2018, Offa bank robbery, during which 9 policemen and 33 persons were killed.
They were apprehended in Kogi, Oyo and Kwara State during the week. One of those arrested, is 27-year-old Moses Gowon, an indigene of Benue State, whose picture was captured by the CCTV camera at one of the banks.
The new arrest has brought to 27, the number of individuals in custody for involvement in the robbery. The fresh suspects belonged to the gang of Michael Adikwu, the dismissed policeman and ex convict earlier arrested. He led the police to the hideout of the men, where they were arrested.
