The Imo State Police Command has arrested one Patrick Bori, who allegedly specialized in the kidnapping of elderly persons aged 80 and above.
Bori was arrested on Thursday by the Command's Anti-Kidnapping Squad following the abduction of Reginald Nkwocha, 84, Adolphus Akagha,94, and Dorathy Nkwo, 82.
Bori, 34, popularly known as Bori, operated with one Uchenna Emerenjo also from the same community.
Fielding questions from our correspondent, Bori confessed that he had realized over N50m from the illicit business.
On why he preferred elderly persons, Bori said, "They don't have the strength to run away from my den. As you keep them there, so they stay till a ransom is paid. I don't have fixed ransom. The ransom I collect depends on the worth of the victim. We don't keep them long for fear of them giving up the ghost."
