Rob & Chyna” was initially renewed for a second season shortly after premiering in September 2016, but E! took the show off its scheduled when the ex-couple broke up earlier this year. But in legal documents obtained by Gossip Cop, Chyna blames the Kardashians for the show’s demise. The model states in her lawsuit that she was on board to continue shooting the series despite her split from Rob, but the family contacted E! and demanded “the second season of ‘Rob & Chyna’ not be filmed.”
According to aa source at E!, however, say Chyna was being difficult during production. The network maintains she refused to be in the same room as Rob, hindering the crew’s ability to shoot a second season. E! reportedly wasn’t happy with the show’s ratings either. Chyna rejects the network’s explanation, insisting her legal team was told the family forced E! to pull the plug after the second season was already greenlit. In addition to Rob, the other defendants included in Chyna’s lawsuit include Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney Kardashian, as well as Kendall, Kylie and Kris Jenner.
Chyna’s lawsuit comes on the heels of Rob and Kylie filing an assault, battery and vandalism suit three weeks ago. As Gossip Cop reported, Rob alleged in his court papers that on December 14, 2016, Chyna repeatedly hit him in the face and tried to strangled him with an iPhone cord. The sock designer further claimed that Chyna caused $100,000 worth of damage to the home they lived in with their daughter Dream, but owned by Kylie.
According to Rob’s lawsuit, Chyna smashed a phone and TV, as well as destroyed sane of the house’s walls and doors. Much like Chyna’s suit, Rob did not specify the amount he’s seeking in damages.
