Iris Rowe resigned from the Atlanta Police Department on Wednesday following her arrest at an apartment complex where police discovered 7 pounds of marijuana.
Officers had expected to find suspects Jeremy Laye and Tony Robinson, who were also arrested on Monday, at the apartment. They were arrested alongside Rowe.
Authorities also discovered prescription pills, guns, ammunition, and $8,000 inside the apartment during the raid on Monday.
Rowe, who had been with the department sine 2016 and worked in the mobile patrol unit, decided resigned from the department with a handwritten note.
