Texas Girl, 13-Year-Old, Arrested In Fatal Stabbing To Death Of 14-Year-Old Friend

Nylay Lightfoot, 14, of Fort Worth, Texas was stabbed to death on Tuesday by her 13-year-old friend, who has been charged in her death.


Nylah, had gone to visit the suspect to retrieve cloths she left with her when she was stabbed in the chest and the and later died from her wounds.

Mother Anntoineete Carters says Nylah asked for the suspect, 13, to sleepover. When Carter said no, the suspect asked Nylah to come over and pick up cloths she had left there, where they got into an altercation.

The 13-year-old girl then allegedly stabbed Nylah in the neck and chest, as her mother looked on.

The 13-year-old suspect was arrested Wednesday.
