22-Yrs-Old US Army Is Charged For Raping One Of His Nine-Month-Old Twin Daughters & Strangling Her To Death With A Cord

A US Army combat medic from Tennessee has been arrested after police say he raped his nine-month-old daughter and then strangled her to death.

A statement from the Clarkville Police Department says 22 year old Christopher Paul Conway was taken into custody on Wednesday morning and charged with homicide and aggravated rape of the infant.

The statement says a cord was wrapped around the baby's neck and caused her death. police say they responded to the family's home n Cindy Jo Court at 7.19am on Tuesday after 911 caller told them that CPR was in progress, reported The leaf Chronicle.

The girl, who had a twin sister, was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead 40 minutes later. Authorities say an investigation of the death led to the arrest of Conway, who is being held in the Montgomery Country jail on $100,000 bond for the rape charge.

Conway's Facebook page indicates that he is originally from Alabama and serves in the US Army as a combat medic stationed at Fort Campbell.

Conway and his wife, Emily, have been married for just under three years. They welcomed their twin girls in February. Photos on the serviceman's social media page paint a picture of a happy, loving young couple enjoying their time with their two newborn daughters. Reason for this act is yet to be known.
