Informant Who Lead The EFCC To Ikoyi Apartment Where N13Billionaira Was Found Will Be rewarded With N325Millionaira

We all remember the Informant also known as (whistle blower) who led the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to the $1.6M apartment in Ikoyi, Lagos where the sums of $43,449,947, 27,800 and N23,218,000 was recovered in April 2017 many reportedly be paid N325M.

The Federal Government's whistle blower police states that any whistle blower whose information leads to the recovery of over N5billionaire will attract a 2.5per cent reward and that is N325million of the 13 billion Naira recovered.

According to the ongoing 7th session of the conference of the state parties to the united nations convention against corruption holding in Vienna, acting chairman of the EFCC, Ibrahim Magu, did not disclose how much would be giving to the whistle blower while he disclosed that the anti graft agency was counselling the man on how to make good use of the money.

He said, "We are currently working on the young man because this is just a man who has worked really had and never made up to one million to him self, However he is under counselling on how to make good use of the money and also the security implication we don't want anything bad to happen to him after taking delivery of his entitlement."
