Texas police found more than 130 pounds of illegal narcotics worth $4.8million that had been hidden inside metal casings of a man's truck tires.
Armando Martinez 43, of McAllen, was allegedly speeding when he was stopped by officers from the Austin Police Department last Tuesday. An officer is seen taking the tire casing off.
Austin police said the tires has been modified with moon shaped steel casings that had to be welded on each tire contained contraband. Police said it took them hours to get the casings off the truck.
According to a police statement, authorities discovered 82 pounds of cocaine, 50 pounds of methamphetamines and 6 pound of heroin inside the tires.
Martinez was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
